Desert Perpetual loot table and all drops in Destiny 2

Yes, the crossbow is in here.

The Desert Perpetual raid takes place inside a black hole made from the body of one of the Nine, arguably Destiny 2‘s most mythic (and powerful) beings. And if that wasn’t enough to make you want to dive in, the raid also brings a slew of drops to obtain.

The Desert Perpetual debuted the game’s anticipated new Combat Bow archetype, a heavy crossbow that fires weighty bolts at enemies. You can pick those up after firing them, and you can also grab them off live enemies.

In addition to the new crossbow, players can also grab an assortment of weapons, from an SMG to a rocket launcher. Here’s what drops from each encounter in this Destiny 2 raid.

The Desert Perpetual doesn’t have a linear structure, so you can take on any of the three bosses in any order. You must defeat all of them before attempting the final boss, however.

This is an in-progress loot table based on information from blueberries.gg and our experience with the raid. We will update things once more information becomes available.

All drops in the Desert Perpetual raid in Destiny 2

The Desert Perpetual introduces six Legendary weapons. These drops have a somewhat balanced distribution, with three on the Light side and three dealing Stasis or Strand damage. The Whirling Ovation Exotic is the tie breaker, adding another Dark-aligned weapon to the mix. Here’s what you need to know about each.

In addition to Desert Perpetual’s new weapons, if you’re lucky with RNG, you can get the Whirling Ovation Exotic. This Rocket launcher deals Strand damage with a little bit of Solar splashed in. As usual, the Exotic drops from the final boss in the raid, who may also drop any weapon or armor for any slot.

  • Coronal Culmination (Intrinsic): “Hold Fire to charge, release to fire. Charged projectiles have a delayed Solar payload.”
  • Anticipation (trait): “The charge speed of this weapon’s next shot slowly increases over time. Anticipation builds more quickly as you deal more damage with other weapons.”
