This new opening movie trailer and demonstration for upcoming Square Enix title Demon’s Score is crazy. There’s haunted castles, talking teddy bears, machine guns, demons and knitted caps. That’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a videogame!

A good game also needs good music. Demon’s Score is all about music, as its touch and swipe battle mechanic is tied directly to the beat of tunes that come from some of gaming’s best musicians. Square Enix confirms that Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts) Keiichi Okabe (Tekken, Nier), Zuntata, Naoshi Mizuta, Ryo Yamazaki, and Kohei Tanaka are on the roster, and more announcements are coming soon.

The trailer above should tell you all you need to know. The real meat of the clip is the last minute, where some awesome gameplay is shown. Some of it looks pretty hectic!

Demon’s Score will be available this fall on iOS and Android (Tegra 3 processors only).
