Dementium II: Free poster, new website, new screens

First, the free poster: After the jump you’ll see a preview of a poster that the first 1,000 preorder customers can nab. The first 1,000 that preorder Dementium II and send a copy of their receipt (and address!) to [email protected] will get the poster, signed by the game’s creators. Pretty sweet deal. One per household, US & Canada only.

Now the new site: “We decided to launch the teaser site first because, to be honest, the full website is too disturbing for most people,”says SouthPeak Euro’s PR.

Yeah, right, I thought. Let’s see just how scary this is.

Okay, it’s not that scary. And I don’t say that like an internet kiddie that challenges everything they read. It’s just that its only a teaser site. And really, how scary can entering your birthdate at an age check be?

But then I got into it. Put it on full blast. Let it loop in the background. The gasping noises and the creepy music became unnerving. It got me excited for the release of the DS horror title, coming next year.

For now, we’ve got some new screens to hold you over.
