While we’re chomping at the bit for the game to arrive this April, Star Wars: Force Unleashed fans will be able to make do with a little background reading instead, courtesy of Del Rey publishing. Both the graphic novel and paperback are set to cover the timeline between Episodes III-IV, and will serve to further detail the Star Wars expanded universe that just keeps…well, expanding:
“This action-adventure finds the Jedi order crushed under the hand of Emperor Palpatine and a new order risen, one that seeks to dominate the galaxy using the iron fist of Darth Vader. But Vader cannot control an entire galaxy alone and has selected his own apprentice from among those gifted with Force-sensitive abilities. As the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance, this new apprentice must choose their own destiny.”
These should go well with the other videogame inspired novels that litter your bookshelf, such as the Halos, the Resident Evils, and the excellent Mass Effect: Revelation. Who says that gamers don’t read?
