Sony has dropped the launch trailer for one of the most hotly-anticipated video games in some years, Hideo Kojima’s bizarre-looking sci-fi epic Death Stranding, now just two weeks from release.

Never one to shy from length, the trailer runs almost eight minutes in length and is particularly bleak in tone in its depiction of the mysterious adventure title. The trailer features stilted cars, babies in jars, a panicked Mads Mikkelsen, a confused Norman Reedus, and a context-free view of the locations that players will visit, as they explore the planet’s isolated cities and landscapes.

Death Stranding launches November 8 on PS4 and is coming to PC in summer 2020.
