Dear Southpeak, we can’t handle any more X-Blades screens

Recommended Videos

Perhaps I should count myself lucky that X-Blades is due out next month, but honestly I really would have liked more than screenshots to work with for the past year. I believe we’ve only ever had one trailer in all that time, and even that didn’t really show much.

Southpeak’s commitment to marketing this game has been impressive. For a title that wouldn’t ordinarily get a lot of promotion in the Blogocube, it has to be said that the publisher’s tactic of posting a handful of screenshots every week or two has helped keep it in the public eye where ordinarily a game of this nature would be swiftly forgotten.

It’s also amazing that writers such as I have found new ways to retread the same old bollocks when posting the screens every time. We’ve done our best by talking about main character Ayumi’s arse (please see attached diagram above), but enough is enough.

Regardless, it should be out in February, which means a Destructoid review shall be on its way. I can’t wait to be able to say more about this game than “here are some screens.”

In the mean time, here are some screens.
