Dear god! The Deer God is on Kickstarter with 3D pixel art

“The Deer God is a breathtaking 3D pixel art game that will challenge your religion and your platforming skills,” the Kickstarter page reads. Challenge well accepted. I am incredibly good at both platformers and religion. I can’t tell you how many tasteless crackers and extra lengthy swigs of Christ wine I’ve eaten and drunk. 

While it will not beat me at religion, it does look rather nice. Staggering, even. I doen’t know if I can handle it. And I’m sure once I get over the antlerning curve, I’ll beat its platforming as well. We’ll find out venisoon, too: January of 2015. 

Anyway, when’s the last time you played a game starring a deer? The noted Ecco the Dolphin inspiration is, uh, noted.
