Deal: 12% off Fallout 76 with this weekend’s beta access

For PC gamers only, of course

If you’re interested in giving Fallout 76‘s beta session tonight a try, pre-ordering Fallout 76 will grant you that very access. Two more sessions are available before the game’s release on Wednesday, November 14, one tonight on November 3rd at 5 PM Eastern, and the final session on November 4th starting at 2 PM Eastern. All in all, nothing amazing but if you’re 100% sure you’ll be playing the game during release week, this is a nice enough pre-order incentive.

To date, we surprisingly haven’t seen any major discount for Fallout 76 until this past Friday. Digital retailer GMG is running a site-wide 12% off coupon code for all games in their catalog that’s at the full retail price – and this, of course, includes Fallout 76 Standard Edition and their pricey Tricentennial Edition. The 12% off coupon will knock the price down to $52.79 for Fallout 76 Standard Edition and $70.39 for Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition. Like recent trends, the game does not activate on Steam and instead uses Bethesda’s own launcher (think: The Elder Scrolls Online etc.), so you’ll need to register an account here to get going.

If you’re not interested in an online-focused Fallout title, the same coupon code will also work on other upcoming and recent releases such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead, and World War 3.

Fallout 76 PC Pre-Order Deal

Use coupon: NOV12

The coupon will run through November 9 next week. From our experiences, this deal may actually end earlier as publishers often intercede and stop retailers from discounting a soon-to-be-released big title. For anyone else not in a hurry, we’d suggest waiting for reviews and holiday pricing.

If you’re wondering what the Tricentennial Edition will bring, it’ll be a whole lot of in-game cosmetics and customization. If you’re purely looking for additional content, we’d skip out. If you enjoy decking your characters out and you’re a big Fallout fan, it may be worth a look. You’ll get about 10 in-game items and customization, between power armor, skins, and weapons. There’s also a celebratory vault boy saluting emote and workshop posters. Whether or not that’s worth an extra $18 is entirely up to you.
