The interactive comic Dead Space Ignition will be joining Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 and Pinball FX 2 in hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade on October 13. Thank goodness EA and Visceral Games went with a five-dollar price point on this one, considering how “It has three hacking minigames!” isn’t exactly a strong selling point.
That said, the minigames in question do sound pretty good, as far as hacking in videogames is concerned. One is reminiscent of Art Style: Light Trax (awesome), another is tower defense, and the third is a puzzle involving the alignment of lasers. Alright, so the last one is iffy, but the other two? Sure.
If for no other reason, I’ll be giving Ignition a download for the exclusive Dead Space 2 suit. Will you?
