In what might be the most obvious bit of news you’ll read this morning, Electronic Arts has all but confirmed Dead Space 3 by way of silver-haired Lothario and CEO, John Riccitiello.
Riccitiello mentioned the game while talking about franchises hitting five million sales. He namechecked Madden, FIFA, Need for Speed, Medal of Honor and Battlefield, as well as Mass Effect, Dragon Age and The Old Republic. He added that Dead Space would need one more game before becoming a mega success.
“That excludes Dead Space because I think it will probably take Dead Space 3 before we get into that five million unit cadence versus say three, four,” he declared.
There you go, Dead Space 3 was mentioned. That means it is definitely a thing and we have to go utterly NUTS with speculation. IT IS A THING OMG I BET DANTE WILL BE IN IT!
