Dead Space 2: Severed sees the return of the Twitcher

Dead Space 2: Severed is out on March 1 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and brings with it two new chapters to the Dead Space universe. The game follows Gabe Weller (last seen in Dead Space: Extraction) who is dealing with the Necromorph attack on The Sprawl around the same time as Isaac is. Unlike Isaac, Gabe makes use of a one-of-a-kind security suit and a more badass Pulse Rifle.

The new downloadable content also sees the return of the Twitcher from the original Dead Space. In case you forgot, the Twitcher is a Necromorph that moves at twice the speed of a regular Necromorph.

Severed will run you $6.99 or 560 MS Points. Check back on Friday for my preview of the new DLC.
