Dead Rising: Zombie Sacrifice looks appropriately decomposed

Recommended Videos

While I was out at E3 getting all the blandest new Wii info straight from Nintendo, the great CTZ went ahead and showed off what could be the biggest Wii announcement of the year. Dead Rising is now coming to the Wii, re-dubbed Dead Rising: Zombie Sacrifice, with all new features such as a RE4 inspired camera angle and a streamlined story structure.

Dead Rising did well everywhere but in places where the Xbox 360 is largely ignored, so for that reason alone it’s great to see it get this second chance at life. The fact that the Wii is has the largest Japanese install base of any current-gen console assures that more people will now have the opportunity to play this fantastic game. With Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers already coming down the pipe, now all Wii owners need is a down-port of Left 4 Dead. Then all our zombie-waggling wants will finally be fulfilled.
