Dead Island trailer hits net, Sands Resort reservations plummet

At E3 2006, I played a game called Dead Island on the PC, and it sure didn’t look like this. But that’s a good thing, because Techland looks like they’re headed in the right direction with this open world zombie survival first-person shooter.

What’s that? You don’t think there’s enough gameplay shown here to make any judgments? Come on now — you should know that anything with the flesh eating dead is cool in my book. Yeah, maybe living dead-themed games are the new World War II, but who cares? You get to whack the walking dead with a crowbar … in first person!

Xbox 360 and PC gamers can expect Dead Island in 2008.
