Well we all know Takenobu Mitsuyoshi is great, but just how great is he? So great he now has a third compilation album featuring his works lined up for release. His album series From Loud 2 Low started in 2003 including some of his best songs up till that time with Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter, Shenmue and countless other unforgettable classics. The follow-up would see release in 2009, and From Loud 2 Low Too greatly expanded on the selected works of the man spanning two discs, with multiple exclusive arrangements and unreleased tracks.

From Loud 2 Low SUN will include a very interesting selection of tracks, drawing not only from Mitsuyoshi’s game library but also his works in commercials, FLASH animation promotions and even contributions to other game companies, as “The Fist of Wave Motion (Ryu’s Theme)” from Street Fighter Tribute will be making an appearance in an all new arrangement. Other tracks include arrangements of “Let’s Go Away” and “Pounding Pavement” from Daytona USA and the “Dekoboko Workout Theme” from Sega’s Dekoboko race park. As an extra bonus, you also get to see how many fillings he’s had on the album cover.

The album releases on March 27th and can be ordered on Amazon.jp.
