Darksiders III finally got its Abyssal Armor in today’s Keepers of the Void add-on

This should’ve been included from the get-go

Darksiders III launched late last year without one of the series’ staples. The Abyssal Armor, the most powerful gear set in both Darksiders and Darksiders II, was nowhere to be found in the third game. That’s because Gunfire Games and/or THQ Nordic made the frustrating decision to withhold so that it could be packaged as part of an add-on.

Eight months later, the Abyssal Armor has made its way to Darksiders III by way of the Keepers of the Void DLC. It’s the grandest prize for completing everything the add-on throws your way. Keepers of the Void sees Vulgrim task Fury with traveling into Serpent Holes and solving puzzles and besting enemies. It seems more like a series of trials rather than a comprehensive story.

Finally, Darksiders III feels complete now that it has the signature Abyssal Armor. But, you need a $13 piece of DLC to get it.
