Following up from the release of Darksiders Warmastered Edition, Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition will be heading to Switch this year. Releasing on September 26, 2019, it will be available digitally and physically for $29.99 / £26.99 / €29.99. There will be no Switch exclusive features or content, apart from the portable play that the console offers.
I’ve heard good things about Darksiders II, but I’ve still yet to get into this series. All the comparisons to Zelda turn me off as it mostly invites people just dunking on Nintendo’s franchise for no reason. From the little I played of the original back at its launch, it felt more like God of War than Zelda. Maybe I should finally bite the bullet and give these a go.
