Dark Void Zero coming to iPhone and PC

Capcom has announced today that Dark Void Zero, previously only available on DSiWare, will be appearing on iPhone and Steam for PC on April 12th. The retro-styled prequel Dark Void was arguably better than the game that spawned it and it’s nice to hear that those of us who don’t have a DSi will be able to play it. Both versions of the game will be getting some new content in the form of achievements.

I played Dark Void Zero briefly at CES and the game is rather difficult. It requires such precision for your jumps and avoiding enemies that I have some doubts as to how well the game will operate on the iPhone. Capcom assures us in their press release that everything will be fine on the handheld but I know that I’ll be grabbing the Steam version as soon as it drops.

How about you? Who’s with me on picking this up April 12th?
