Dark Souls PC system requirements should be doable

Recommended Videos

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition won’t be available for a couple of months still, so consider this the appropriate time to look over the game’s system requirements courtesy of Steam. They are reasonable, though that’s to be expected.

  • OS: Windows XP , Windows Vista, Windows 7, or newer
  • Processor: 2.6 GHz Dual-Core
  • Memory: 1 GB (XP), 2GB (Vista/7)
  • Hard Disk Space: 4 GB
  • Video Card: 512 MB RAM, ATI Radeon 4850 or higher, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher
  • DirectX: 9.0c
  • Sound: Direct Sound Compatible

Despite some concerns over the potential quality of this port, I have a feeling plenty of us impatient types will still end up getting it if for no other reason than the bonus content. Using that as an excuse to play Dark Souls again isn’t such a bad thing.
