Dark Souls gets a Japanese date, fancy map and CD

Mmmmm. Delicious Dark Souls. I’m already excited. And scared. From Software’s bigger, badder beast is coming our way, thanks to Namco Bandai. Japan gets a solid release date for the title: September 15th. It will be priced at 7,800 yen ($97). September is going to be fine (and expensive!) month.

For all of that money gamers will get a couple of goodies with their copy of the PS3 game. They’ll get a crusty old map of the game’s world that will let them go back and recount all the places they’ve died at. There’s also a soundtrack CD.

I’m getting a good look at Dark Souls next week at E3. I’m prepared to die.
