Dark Souls arriving in October, gets Limited Edition

The gorgeous and brutal Dark Souls has been given a release window of October at Namco Bandai’s Level Up event, with the publisher also confirming a Limited Edition of the game.

The Limited Edition will, like Demon’s Souls before it, feature a fully illustrated guide book. The book was indispensable in Demon’s Souls, and it’ll likely be just as crucial here. In addition to the guide, players will get their hands on a soundtrack CD, a collection of “Making Of” movies and an art book.

Even better, if you pre-order the game, your Limited Edition will cost the same as a standard edition. How unusually generous of Namco!

Oh, and this game makes me want to spunk buckets.
