I’ve highlighted some custom amiibo in my time, but nothing like this. Nothing like Sanic.
“I originally made this for a good friend,” wrote designer Alltheapplesdoubled, “but I would love to have an army of Sanics running around. My only wish is that you train it in smash to be as annoying as possible.”
Between the zoomed-in face on the box, roadkill-esque appearance of the figure, and “cumon step it up!!!!!!!” etching on the stand, Sanic is proof that amiibo can be considered Art with a capital A.
These defects sure are getting sophisticated.
