Damn, Hunger is unsettling

Almost as unsettling as hunger

LittleBigPlanet Vita developer Tarsier’s new project, Hunger, is looking impressive. And spooky. It’s that good kind of “everything is off kilter and uncanny” beat of constant unnerving versus any sort of aggressive scare. The wonky camera works help, and that discordant piano the Hannibal TV show has used so well.

Hunger is all about guiding a young girl out of The Maw, an underwater nightmarescape — hence all the bobbing — where, presumably, she will be eaten.
