Google has revealed that CD Projekt RED’s highly-anticipated action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will be gracing the online Stadia service with its presence. The news was announced during yesterday’s Stadia Connect presentation, held as part of gamescom’s opening festivities.

As one of the biggest and most ambitious video games ever created and released, Cyberpunk 2077 is sure to test the mettle of the Google Stadia service, which essentially streams games in real time direct from the cloud. Given Cyberpunk’s tech heavy engine and stunning-looking visuals, not to mention its explosive action setpieces, the hyped adventure is arguably the most ambitious test of Stadia’s stability to date.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on PS4, PC and Xbox One April 16, 2020. A Google Stadia launch date has not yet been announced.
