Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: Should you choose Nika or Anderson in Dogtown Saints?

Compromise in Night City.

As you hang out in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, you might pick up some gigs. Maybe you’re passing the time, or maybe you’re looking to check off some journal entries. Either way, they often contain some choices, like the one V faces at the conclusion of the gig Dogtown Saints in Cyberpunk 2077, choosing to side with either Nika or Anderson.

This gig is given to you by Mr. Hands, V’s handler while taking on odd jobs in Dogtown during the story of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. While not always required, there are a few times the expansion gives you some free time, or even points you directly towards gigs to move the story forward. Because of this, you might run into Gig: Dogtown Saints at a few different points in the story.

Where to start Dogtown Saints in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

Once you’ve received the brief from Hands, head towards Haven, the clinic in Dogtown. You’ll know it by the glowing neon cross and lettering. Outside, you’ll meet with Odell Blanco, a former priest who works with Anthony Anderson. The clinic has been taken over by scavs, led by a woman named Nika, and you’ve been hired to extract Anderson and settle things.

Entering the clinic, you can go either peacefully or aggressively; I accidentally set off an alarm and went guns blazing, but you can also opt to sneak by or non-lethally incapacitate the scavs. You’re looking for a door at the back-right of the room, on the first floor. (There’s an elevator too, but it’s out of order right now.)

Take the stairs down, avoid or take out more scavs, and you’ll come to a room where Nika and Anderson are facing off.

Should you side with Nika or Anderson?

At this point, you’ll learn the truth about Anderson’s shady clinic practices, and that Nika isn’t here for supplies or goods, but revenge. You’ll have a few different options, including encouraging Nika to vent her frustrations on the bad doctor, or defending the doctor and potentially killing Nika.

You can, however, try to strike a best-of-both approach. Take Nika’s side, making Anderson fess up about what his clinic’s been doing. Then, when Nika raises her fist up, choose the option Give Nika her brother. Anderson will tell Nika where her brother is, and she’ll leave peacefully. Talk it out with Anderson, then with Nika, and encourage everyone to walk away without any bloodshed.

You’ll get some praise from Mr. Hands for a job well done. It only seems to have an effect on how much cash you get, from what we’ve seen, but it’s also nice to resolve everything without a hail of lead. And that’s how you can both have your cake and eat it too in the Dogtown Saints gig in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
