Starting Valentine’s Day
I didn’t think the Spirit Boards in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be something that would interest me much when they were first revealed, but here we are more than a year later and I can’t get enough of them. They’re a small and simple addition to the best-selling fighter, and quite frankly, I rarely use the ones I unlock during these events. And yet, it seems like every other week I’m popping that game card back in to collect as many as I can.
This weekend’s Spirit Event is of particular interest to me. Cuphead will be getting its own five-day Spirit Board starting February 14. “Ready? Wallop!” will feature four spirits from the animated shooter, including Cuphead, Mugman, King Dice, and the Devil.
