Zeboyd Games intends to bring its old-school role-playing game Cthulhu Saves the World to more platforms. With the help of Tinkerhouse Games, the team’s brand of humor will grace iPhone, iPad, Android, and Mac early this year.
If the three-dollar price point on Xbox 360 was too high for your blood, take note: Zeboyd has dropped Cthulhu Saves the World down to a mere dollar, because it has the ability to do that now. Perfect timing, considering this release is celebrating its one-year anniversary.
I can see how some might grow tired of independent studios putting so much time into getting the same game out on different platforms rather than starting on an entirely new project, but come on — for all these folks have to deal with for a remote chance at success, they deserve the opportunity.
