Crysis 2 score gets strong, Hans Zimmer to contribute

Electronic Arts has announced today that famed composer Hans Zimmer has contributed music to the upcoming shooter, Crysis 2.

“I was drawn to Crysis 2 because of Crytek’s passion for the project and the world they created,” said Hans Zimmer.

Something tells me he was also drawn to the paycheck which — considering his rates, from what I understand — was probably massive.

Zimmer and his team worked alongside Borislav Slavov and Tilman Sillescu, who had already been contributing music to the title. I’m sure they were thrilled them someone decided it wasn’t good enough so they called up Zimmer.

Crysis 2 is out March 22. The music, at the very least, will probably be pretty good.
