Electronic Arts has today announced a pair of special editions to accompany the release of Crytek’s hot FPS sequel, Crysis 2. These special packages shall be known as the Limited Edition and the Nano Edition.
The Limited Edition comes at no extra cost and will include a range of special in-game content. Bonus XP, a SCAR Hologram Decoy, a SCAR Weapon Skin, and a Platinum Dogtag will all be unlocked for use in the game.
The Nano Edition (which had been previously leaked) will be a far more robust package, boasting a steel case, an 11″ statue of the main character Prophet on top of a New York taxi cab, an art book, and a backpack modeled on the game’s Nanosuit. It will only be available for pre-order in “extremely limited quantities” and has thus far been given a UK price of £119.99.
