Crush zombies in endurance racer Dead End

Now released for mobile devices

Released today for iOS, Android and Windows Phones, Dead End is an endurance racing game in which players strike zombies to earn cash while avoiding road hazards. Earned money can then be spent on upgrades to the car, allowing for longer and more profitable runs.

It’s not bad. The game offers touch or tilt controls (I found the latter made the game unplayable) and a healthy number of unlockables. There’s a combo system for hitting zombies that works pretty well too, as aggressively plowing into one undead after another will coat the windshield in blood and make seeing obstacles much harder the more you score.

Dead End is free to download, but limits the player on how far they can travel before having to pony up $1.99 to unlock the full version and keep driving.
