If you’re feelin’ froggy

Are you looking forward to Dream Uncorporated’s charming action-RPG Cris Tales? I sure am. While I’ve learned to temper my expectations of beautiful indie adventures following a string of disappointments, I have to admit that I’m really digging Cris Tales‘ dream-like visuals and strong cast of characters. It’s a dice-roll for sure, but I’m hoping it comes up a six.

For anyone who wants to go all-in on Cris Tales‘ time-hopping universe, then publisher Modus Games has announced a special collector’s edition, which is now available for pre-order over at the Maximum Games store, priced at $99.99, not including shipping charges. (It should also be noted that shipping is limited to the United States only).

The Cris Tales collector’s edition includes a digital copy of the game on the format of your choosing, a selection of pins and character stickers, lenticular art prints, a 60-page art book – packed with concepts from Cris Tales‘ Colombian-inspired design – and an adorable plush toy of protagonist Crisbell’s froggy companion, Matias. A digital content bundle includes a selection of wallpapers, character avatars, and access to further artwork online.

Cris Tales, which was recently delayed from its November 2020 launch date, is expected to launch on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia in 2021.
