Crazy-eyed Spinda shows up overnight in Nintendo’s Pokemon GO

Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit

It seems like, overnight, a new Pokemon snuck into Nintendo’s mobile collectathon Pokemon GO, as the swirly-eyed Spinda has become available to catch as a quest reward.

The newcomer is the first of an expected eight forms of Spinda. Those looking to pick up the rabbit-esque character need to accomplish the task of landing three curveball throws in a row, which will then add Spinda to your ever-increasing menagerie of Pokemon.

Spinda was first introduced in Pokemon during Generation 3, first appearing in Game Boy Advance titles Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. Spindas – who do not have any form of evolution – are typified by their erratic movement and the spotted bodies, which are completely unique from one another.

Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android devices.
