Counter-Strike cheater gets knifed in his head

As if we needed further evidence that videogames are SERIOUS business, an alleged Counter-Strike cheater in Jilin, China was rushed to hospital with a giant kitchen knife jammed into his skull. A group of kids were arguing with the 17-year-old player over his use of wall hacks at a ‘Net cafe, when they introduced him to a little hacking of their own.

Amazingly, the teenager lived and hasn’t even suffered any long-term damage. According to doctors, the blade missed all major arteries so he will still have his motor control and return to a life of cheating. It’s been noted that the blade was rusty, so even though the victim is fine, he’s being observed just to make absolutely sure. 

A narrow escape, and an important life lesson learned. If you try and clip through walls, some angry gamers might try and clip through your head.
