Could this Prof. Layton Nendoroid solve all your troubles?

Well, no. But he’s still pretty cool

Another video game character is heading to the Good Smile Company’s rage of Nendoroid figurines. This one is a little different, as rather than being another Overwatch hero or badass anime kunoichi, this latest release is none other than quaint puzzle solver, Professor Hershel Layton.

Standing 100mm in height, the majority of which is his king-size hat, Prof. Layton comes with three interchangeable faceplates and several accessories. These include his trusty suitcase and a warming cup of hot tea. That’s about it, I don’t think anyone was really expecting him to come packing a rocket launcher or other such items.

If you’re interested in pre-ordering the dear Professor for yourself, perhaps to sit on your bedside table and judge you harshly for your life choices, then he is available to pre-order over at the Good Smile website for ¥4,444 (or roughly $41 USD). Prof. Layton is expected to ship in September of this year.
