Take over control

It there’s anything Remedy Entertainment knows, it’s how to craft a soundtrack. As this launch trailer for Control shows, the game is likely going to have some amazing music to accompany its weird sci-fi storyline. We see main character Jesse Faden shooting dudes, warping reality around her, and succumbing to MADNESS! MADNESS I SAY!

I’m still not exactly sure what the story is here, but I’m really excited that Remedy hasn’t lost its style. No matter what you think of their games, each one has been worth experiencing for how unique they are in the industry. The mixture of gameplay and narrative with self-awareness makes for compelling entertainment, even in the face of technical issues. I’m happy Remedy exists, is what I’m trying to say.

Control launches next week on August 27, 2019. It’ll be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Epic Games Store).
