Contest: Win CrossCode for PS4 or Xbox One

It’s an RPG…INSIDE another RPG

In today’s contest you can win a PS4 or Xbox One copy of hit RPG CrossCode.

If you’re a console pleb like me and have been eyeing CrossCode for a while, then you’re in luck! We’ve got some PS4 and Xbox One copies of the hit RPG to give away so you can experience what PC players have had for nearly two years now. Those showoffs.

Lea has lost her memory; as a way to help find what she lost, she logs into CrossWorlds, a fictional MMO within the game’s universe. As she plays through, she meets other players within the world, and eventually discovers that the game’s universe is not quite what it seems. This SNES-inspired RPG has been acclaimed by critics and fans alike, and now you can get in on the gorgeous visuals, amazing music, and unique combat found in CrossCode.

  • 16-bit, SNES-style 2D graphics with detailed animations
  • A soundtrack inspired by old SNES and PlayStation JRPGs
  • A unique ball throwing mechanic with charging functionality and ricocheting balls, used for combat and puzzles
  • A fast-paced combat system featuring close and ranged attacks, guarding, dashing and great variety of special attacks.
  • A complete RPG system with leveling, equipment, consumable items and skill trees
  • A detailed movement system with auto-jumping and precise collision

To enter to win your copy, comment below telling us which platform/region you’d like (PS4 NA/EU, Xbox One) and which video game you’d like to be stuck in. An MMO seems too much like real life, what with all the endless grinding for minimal reward, but I wouldn’t mind something simpler like Katamari Damacy. The constant fear of being rolled up into a giant ball would probably be draining, but man the constant feeling of being high on LSD would more than make up for it.

We have five PS4 NA and EU keys each, and five Xbox One keys to give out; winners will be drawn Wednesday, July 15. Make sure to comment using a Dtoid account with your current email address on file. If you’re new, get lost in the Dtoid community by creating an account here.

CrossCode is available now for PS4 and Xbox One.
