Someone call an ambulance!

This contest puts you in control: Win a Switch key for 911 Operator.

My cousin is a firefighter, my sister works as a paramedic, and my brother-in-law is a corpsman. I’m surrounded by people who deal with the stress of making sure people are safe and in good hands when health is at risk. And let me tell you — I don’t envy their jobs at all. You’ve got to be able to handle immediate stress and pressure under duress, and man it’s driving me crazy just thinking about it.

Think you’ve got what it takes to ensure the well-being of the community? Enter for your chance to win a Switch copy of 911 Operator!

Sonka Games, take the wheel:

In 911 Operator, you take on the role of an emergency dispatcher, who has to rapidly deal with the incoming reports. Your task is not just to pick up the calls, but also to react appropriately to the situation – sometimes giving first aid instructions is enough, at other times a police, fire department or paramedics’ intervention is a necessity. Keep in mind that the person on the other side of the line might turn out to be a dying daughter’s father, an unpredictable terrorist, or just a prankster. Can you handle all of this?

Specifically redesigned for Nintendo Switch, 911 Operator lets you put your patience and management skills to the test, whether you’re eager to save lives on the go or want to give out orders from the comfort of your couch with a Pro Controller.

Key features include:

  • Opportunity to play on over 900 cities in the world!
  • Expansive Career mode, featuring unique calls and events.
  • Nintendo Switch exclusive World Map feature that allows you to pick any location you want to play!
  • More than 140 types of reports to encounter.
  • 12 types of emergency vehicles (including helicopters, police cars or motorcycles).
  • Real first aid instructions.

Too much pressure for me, thanks.

To enter to win, comment below telling us how you’d handle the stress of being in charge of people’s lives. I would say I’d just drink, but I think if I drink any more than I already do now it’d revoke the “functioning” part of my alcoholism. That adjective is really important to me.

We have seven Switch keys to give away. Our keys are for North American eShop accounts, only. Winners will be drawn on Monday, November 19. Please make sure your Dtoid account has your current email address on file, and that you’re using that account to comment. If I can’t email you, I can’t drunkenly shout at you.

911 Operator is available now on Switch, Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. Head over to Nintendo Enthusiast for more chances to win!
