Contest: Slay your fans as a demonic idol in your new Switch copy of Kawaii Deathu Desu

What do these words mean?

In today’s contest you can win a Switch copy of weird rhythm idol game Kawaii Deathu Desu!

What’s this? Another weird little game that I not only can’t pronounce the name of, but also have no clue what the Japenese words actually mean?! Why the hell not!

Kawaii Deathu Desu is strange. Something about singers murdering fans with a weird Japanese style swarming the whole thing. Looks neat, right? I figured you lot would like it, so I got some Switch keys to give away!

Ok, so the whole gist is demons have taken the form of pop idols and have organized worldwide tours to gain fervid followers. To what end? Why, to slay them and steal their souls, of course! The only way to gain the crown of the underworld is to show up with the most souls — so make your fans pay! This rhythm-based beat ’em up is easy to control, difficult to master, and most of all, a little batshit crazy.

And that’s the best part if ya ask me.

To enter to win your copy, comment below telling us how you’d acquire enough souls to run Hell. Clearly the pop idol route is taken, so you’ll have to come up with some other scheme if you want to run the joint. The more creative, the better! (But since I randomly draw winners, it won’t actually increase your odds, you’ll just have the satisfaction of making me laugh.)

We have five Switch NA keys to give away; winners will be drawn Thursday, April 23. Make sure to comment using a Dtoid account with your current email address on file. If you’re new, create an account here to tell us how you’re planning on becoming the new Lord of the Underworld!

Kawaii Deathu Desu is available now on the Switch eShop. Our sister site, Nintendo Enthusiast, has more keys to give away, so check ’em out!
