We were here, there, everywhere
In today’s contest we’re giving away Steam copies of We Were Here Together!
Most of our contests are solo events. That is, one person wins a game or accessory, and that’s it. But today I want to try something a little different. Because I’m a little different. You are, too, if you’re reading this.
In the co-op spirit of the newly-released We Were Here Together, we’re giving away a copy of the game for both you and a friend! We’ve got a bit of a twist though — read on to find out more!

The game continues the communication centered adventure in which you and a partner must solve puzzles on an urgent mission to save the expedition…and yourself! This time, expect even more puzzles and discover the story behind the Antarctic expedition. More than 2,000,000 people have played We Were Here and the sequel We Were Here Too since they were released, on PC and Xbox One.
Starting out at the research base camp, you’ll need to figure out a way to get to Castle Rock together. If you can make it through the frozen Antarctic wastes, you’ll find yourselves separated inside the castle itself, facing puzzles, secrets, and dangers! You and your partner have nothing but your wits and a walkie talkie each: bservation, smart communication and teamwork will be the only way to escape from the sinister Castle Rock.
- Explore together — In a first for the series, you can explore outside areas and the base camp side by side! Choose who handles different parts of puzzles, and switch around if you get stuck.
- Brain teasing cooperative puzzles — Every puzzle requires you to work together with your partner!
- Return to Castle Rock — Discover more of the We Were Here backstory as you re-enter the sinister citadel. Once inside, you’ll be split up again — and your partnership truly tested…
- Atmospheric exploration — Where did Castle Rock come from? What is your Antarctic expedition here for? There are clues for those who pay attention in the detailed environments.
Are you sensing the theme of togetherness? Good. This contest will work a little differently. I need you to leave a comment below naming another Destructoid user or commenter you’d want to explore Castle Rock with. You can give reasons, or you can just drop a name and hit the road. I’ll draw two random winners, and they’ll each receive two keys — one for themselves, and one for their selected co-op partner!
