Contest: Fight your food with a Steam copy of Nom Nom Apocalypse

Food fight!!

In today’s contest we’ve got copies of top-down shooter Nom Nom Apocalypse up for grabs!

Remember when your mom told you not to play with your food? Well, she was right — you should never make merry with your nourishment. It’s just rude. But yo when that shit grows 50 feet tall and starts throwing meatballs at you, it’s perfectly acceptable to fight with your food.

Don’t let your food eat you! Win a Steam copy of top-down shooter Nom Nom Apocalypse to make sure the food chain stays the way it is.

A catastrophic explosion in a diner led to a real-life kitchen nightmare. Now, all the food within has grown big, mean, and sentient, hellbent on biting back. Control one of the diner employees in this top-down, twin-stick shooter to put that food where it belongs — in our bellies! Each character has their own job-specific skills that help them quell the gastronomic uprising. And of course, all of your weapons are food-based: Grab your Ketchup Squirter, Mustard Blaster, and Microwave Laser Beam to finish your dinner once and for all.

Never, EVER neglect to wear a condiment, folks.

To enter to win your copy, comment below telling us your favorite food, and what would happen should it deign to fight back. Clearly I’m a taco man, and man it’s gonna suck when they grow huge and angry. They’re already pretty hit or miss with stummy issues, but once they’re big they’ll always give me indigestion. And heartburn. And diarrhea. And pretty much everything they were designed to do. Damn you, tacos!

We have five Steam keys to give away; winners will be drawn Tuesday, February 18. Make sure to comment using a Dtoid account with your current email address on file. New to the site? Sign up here to fight with your food!

Nom Nom Apocalypse is available now on Steam. Check out PC Invasion for more chances to win!
