Computer plays Pong against another computer: the beginning of a dark future

Recommended Videos

Blogging programmer, Ashish Derhgawen, has presented us a slice of our most horrific future, where Pong playing super robots will enslave the world with paddles forged from the very reasoning of sin. Well, not really, but what he has done is set up two computers to play a Pong clone against one another, using a webcam to imbue one of the machines with cycloptic powers.

Inspired by a computer that can play on a PSP while using a webcam to view the on-screen shenanigans, Ashish hooked up two machines, as per the video above, then set them upon each other in gladiatorial combat, that each warrior may compete for valor and their master’s favor. That, or they’ll just play for hours and hours with no winner ever becoming clear. Stupid boring computers. Neat little video, though.
