If you have ever wanted to Get in the Game, you will soon be able to Get in the Game because Sony is launching an initiative to help you Get in the Game and it is called Get in the Game.
This new scheme, which looks intended to bolster the PlayStation Network’s profile, offers five budding developers the chance to receive £10,000 in order to create PSN content prototypes. A free workshop is being held in December where prospective devs can pitch their ideas to Sony executives and producers.
Once five developers have been selected, the lucky studios will then have the first three months of 2009 to develop their ideas and showcase the prototypes to Sony Europe. If SCEA likes what it sees, there’s a chance of a full PSN production. Or Sony could just plagiarize like a real company does.
So, this is a thing that is happening.
