Codemasters introducing LiveRoute system in GRID 2

Round and round they go, where they stop…

Since the dawn of racing, man has asked himself but one simple question: “How can we mess with the drivers during the course of a race?” Codemasters has listened and pondered over this question for many restless nights, and now has responded in interesting fashion.

In the newest GRID 2 trailer, the developer has showed off its LiveRoute system. As players progress during the course of career mode and certain multiplayer races, the tracks will change mid-race, forcing racers to stay on their toes in order to beat the competition. It seems like an interesting little addition that could spice up your regular racing fair, but for those of you who like to master your tracks, there will be an option to disable this feature.

GRID 2 will be sliding into stores and digital distributors on May 28, 2013 for North America and May 31, 2013 for European racers.
