Codemasters dishes out the eye candy with GRID

There’s nothing I’d rather see appear in a game trailer more than the words “actual gameplay footage.” Generally speaking, this short disclaimer means that what you’re about to witness is visually stunning, leaving you to worry about the controls and gameplay itself instead of having your inner graphics whore take over.

DiRT was the last racing game to come out of Codemasters, and its incredible in-game cameras and graphical flair were as impressive to me back then as the above footage for GRID is to me now. Here’s hoping it is able to up the ante.
