Codemasters has announced that its 2019 GRID reboot will be getting delayed. Originally planned for a September launch, the revived racer will now be releasing on October 11, 2019. The “Ultimate Edition” of the game will give players early access on October 8 and come with all the previously announced content, as well. According to the studio, the delay was decided upon to give “added exposure” to the racer, likely in an attempt to polish it further.

With the extra time before launch, Codemasters will be revealing more information for what this revival will have. Expect to see new trailers, extended gameplay, and announcements of content in the coming months. GRID will be launching on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia when it releases later this year.

Grid reboot delayed by one month, will now release on October 11 [VG 24/7]
