Code Vein’s demo to be updated with new area and character export

The hits keep coming

Bandai Namco has announced it will be updating the recently released Code Vein demo with some extra content in the near future. What was previously just “The Depths” will soon include “The Town of Sacrifice,” a multiplayer mode, and a character export option. That last bit means the character creator option will allow you to save your changes for when the full release comes around. That’s a relief, especially since I’d hate to spend so much time tweaking my appearance just to do it again for the final version.

As for the multiplayer, Bandai Namco isn’t talking any specifics for what that entails. It could be PvP or possibly PvE, but there is going to be some kind of multiplayer added to the demo. Considering this is a Souls-like game, multiplayer is pretty integral to the experience. Sampling it before release could make or break the game for some.
