Say what you will about Call of Duty‘s return to World War II, one can’t fault Treyarch’s determination to follow up Modern Warfare with style. The team knows it has a tough act to follow with Infinity Ward’s efforts and so far, things aren’t looking too diabolical for World at War.
We now know what weapons and perks will be available in the game, and you can view those after the jump. Many perks will be returning from Modern Warfare (including everybody’s favorite, Martyrdom) while Treyarch is adding some brand new skills such as Monkey (climb trees faster), Frogman (swim faster) and the delightful sounding Play Dead. The weapons will be taken from the arsenals of British, American, Russian, Japanese and German forces. Maybe this means you get to play as a Nazi?
One can only hope, dear friends. One can only hope.
