Co-op enters the Hearthstone arena for the first time ever

A limited time Tavern Brawl

Potential co-op for Hearthstone has been the talk of the town for quite some time after a leak surfaced earlier this year. Now, players can actually play it by way of this week’s Tavern Brawl activity.

Starting today, and through Monday, November 9, two players can fight Mechazod at the same time. You’ll both get pre-built decks, and the titular boss will switch sides during each turn to battle individual players. No matter what the outcome is, you’ll both net yourself a free deck of cards for your troubles.

It’s a really cool concept, and one I’d love to see come to Hearthstone proper in the coming months. I think it would go a really long way for players who aren’t all that into competitive play, and are intimidated by online matches.
