Clint Hocking joins up with LucasArts

It was revealed a while back that Ubisoft creative director Clint Hocking, who is known best for his work on the Splinter Cell series as well as Far Cry 2, had left the company. We finally have an update to this story, so you know what that means: no more sleepless nights!

“We are pleased to announce that Clint Hocking has joined LucasArts as creative director on an unannounced project,” a LucasArts spokesperson told GameSpot. I’m pleased to announce that the announcement of this unannounced project is relevant to my interests.

I have to imagine Hocking will either be working on a Star Wars game, or a new IP. Knowing how talented he can be, I hope it’s the latter — let him go all out with something fresh.
