Clash Blaster Neo arrives in time for Splatoon 2 splatfests

Baseball vs Salty Popcorn… something like that

Friday is here once again, which means it’s time to check out the latest weapon to make its way to Nintendo’s arena-shooter Splatoon 2. This week, its the neatly-titled Clash Blaster Neo.

The Clash Blaster Neo is a brand new variant of the Clash Blaster. The original is known for its very short range but high-impact, splatting a nearby foe in just two hits.  Its visual design features crayons mounted on its body. This Neo variant comes equipped with a Curling Bomb sub and Tenta Missile special.

This weekend also sees two new Splatfests take place in North America and Europe. The U.S. will enter into a sporting conflict (literally) of Baseball versus Soccer. In Europe, players will battle over Salty or Sweet Popcorn. Remember that the real winners choose secret answer three: Don’t eat in cinemas.

The Clash Blaster Neo will go live in Splatoon 2 tonight in the U.S. with Europe and Japan to follow early tomorrow. Have a great weekend, squid-kids!
