Have any of you ODed on chiptunes yet? No? In that case, allow me to fuel your addiction even further. If nothing else, I’m an enabler.

The latest smack is Chiptune Rush, a music store that officially launched on October 23. Established by Mode 7 Games, the indie studio responsible for last year’s Frozen Synapse, the shop aims to gather as many notable chip artists as possible then offer their albums at affordable prices, because how else is the junkie on a budget gonna get his fix?

Mode 7’s own Paul “_ensnare_” Taylor, who produced the Frozen Synapse soundtrack, offers up his wares, as do notable chip artists like Space Town Savior, 4mat, and FEZ composer Disasterpeace, with more expected down the road. Prices range from “pay whatever” to a few bucks at most, and you’ll even receive a free music bundle just for signing up to email updates.

These albums are available elsewhere on the net — beek’s 7bit date: robot love was featured here on Dtoid, for instance — but the convenience of having them all under one roof can’t be denied. And of course, such a repository can help broaden the minds of chiptune newcomers. It’s all about spreading the love, fellas!
